Mediofondo, the intermediate test

With an ascent of Mont Ventoux via Sault, the mediofondo allows you to reach the summit by the least demanding route, even if things are bound to get tougher from Charlet Reynard onwards. Don’t underestimate this challenge, though, as the ascent of the Col de l’Homme Mort is likely to take up a lot of your energy.

Whether it’s the difficulty, the weather or its extraordinary summit, Mont Ventoux will always impress, and climbing it is child’s play, but getting there is quite simply heroic!

6:30 a.m.: Opening of the grid for participants, avenue du Général de Gaulle. SAS by level will be set up.

Mandatory redirection on the Piccolofondo, towards the climb via Sault from 9:45.

At the ski resort of the Mont Serein : recovery refreshment station. This refreshment point is no longer at the summit, but further down.
