A unique route

Mediofondo, the intermediate test

With an ascent of Mont Ventoux via Sault, the mediofondo allows you to reach the summit by the least demanding route, even if things are bound to get tougher from Charlet Reynard onwards. Don’t underestimate this challenge, though, as the ascent of the Col de l’Homme Mort is likely to take up a lot of your energy.

Whether it’s the difficulty, the weather or its extraordinary summit, Mont Ventoux will always impress, and climbing it is child’s play, but getting there is quite simply heroic!

From 2025, the routes will alternate each year, with a northern bypass or a southern bypass. In 2025, you’ll have the chance to complete the northern bypass of Mont Ventoux for the first time since 2020! Only one thing will remain the same: the ascent via Sault for the mediofondo and piccolofondo and via Bédoin for the Granfondo. No touching the giant!

KM 6 (after the finish line)
At the ski resort of the Mont Serein : recovery refreshment station. This refreshment point is no longer at the summit, but further down.
