Mediofondo, the ideal test

With an ascent of Mont Ventoux via Sault, the mediofondo allows you to reach the summit via the least demanding ascent, even though things are bound to get tougher from Charlet Reynard onwards.
However, whether it’s the difficulty, the weather or the unusual summit, Mont Ventoux will always impress.

Climbing Mont Ventoux is child’s play, but getting there is nothing short of heroic !

Mandatory redirection on the middle route, towards the climb via Sault from 11:50.

First pass at La Gabelle (Fontaines KM 48 at Villes sur Auzon and KM 71 at Monieux).

Les Loges (bottom of Sault), at the beginning of the ascent of the Mont-Ventoux (Fontaines KM : 95 at Chalet Reynard (with toilets)).

The Ermitants, 200 m after the Chalet Reynard on the left (Fontaines KM 115,5 la Grave).
KM 6 (after the finish line)
At the ski resort of the Mont Serein : recovery refreshment station. This refreshment point is no longer at the summit, but further down.
