A unique route

Hiking, an accessible event but not to be underestimated

Climbing Mont Ventoux by bike is as difficult as it is legendary. Renowned as one of the most demanding climbs in France, it is the goal of a lifetime or a season for both beginners and experienced cyclists. Whether by its difficulty, its weather or its extraordinary summit, Mont Ventoux impresses.

With this randonnée formula open to muscle bikes as well as electrically assisted bikes, we want to allow as many people as possible to test themselves on the discovery of one of the most legendary passes in France.

Be careful though, if you take on an electric bike, rigorous battery management is necessary to complete your challenge, at the risk of finding yourself without battery before the summit on large percentages of slope with a very heavy bike. . Also think about returning to Vaison-La-Romaine.

Starting the ascent of Mont Ventoux is child’s play, but finishing it is simply heroic!

7:45 a.m.: Opening of the grid for participants, avenue du Général de Gaulle.

KM 29 (at Sainte-Colombe)
you will be disqualified from 10am if you have not passed the control at Sainte Colombe. You are then invited to go back to Vaison la Romaine without climbing Mont Ventoux, via Bédoin/la Madeleine/Malaucène.

Sainte Colombe on the right – Beginning of the Ventoux, to 500M of the turn of St Estève (Fontaines KM 30 at the pass in “Les Bruns” and KM : 41 at the Chalet Reynard (with toilets)).
KM 42
The Ermitants, 200 m after the Chalet Reynard on the left (Fontaines KM 43,5 la Grave).
KM 6 (after the finish line)
At the ski resort of the Mont Serein : recovery refreshment station. This refreshment point is no longer at the summit, but further down.
